PINUS STROBUS A fast growing tree that has a pyramidal form when young. With age, trees become picturesque forming tufts of spaced branches that gives them a unique form. Needles 3"-5" long, are soft in clusters of 5 and green to bluish-green. Grow in full sun to partial shade on moist, well drained soil. This is the largest conifer in the state of Wisconsin. A beautiful Pine that is a great specimen, and is useful in the middle rows of a well designed windbreak.
