Some apples have such complex or different flavor profiles making it difficult to describe the taste. This is one of those apples. More sweet and sharp than it is sweet and tart, but like I said, difficult to describe this one. Complex flavor: nutty, pear, caramel. Richly flavored I might add, and developes even more flavor once stored for a bit. This is a very popular apple in England, it is a prized apple after all.
