My mentor named this one! The only reason I got it in the first place was because of him, and you can imagine how exciting it was when I finally was able to pick these from the trees I had planted. I had planted 12 of them so once they got into producing some, I was a Bonkers apple eating machine! Very disease resistant. Never once have there been an issue with disease. The apples for the most part are large, and typically will fill your hand. Most of these apples are seedless, which parthenocarpically would be the correct term for that. Very crisp these apples are. I would say that even though they are tart, I would add that they are pleasantly tart.
