This is a good one for us organic and holistic growers, as it is resistant to fireblight! The other thing, it is said to be self-fertile. I am not able to confirm nor deny that, as we have no way of being able to test that out at the moment with all the other pears we have growing in the orchard. Taste tests conclude this one as a keeper! You can store for up to 2 months as long as you pick them early enough. Of course that goes for most pears. You could pear, haha, pair this one up with Seckel and Clapp's Favorite for added pollination!
